Ingredients
  

  • 6 refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 lb turkey breakfast sausage like Jennie-O
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup egg whites
  • ½ cup Fairlife fat-free milk
  • ½ cup reduced-fat shredded cheddar
  • 2 packets of country gravy mix prepared using water according to the packet
  • Black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Brown the turkey sausage in a large skillet, breaking it into crumbles.
  3. Quarter the biscuits and add them to a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  4. Save a little to add on top of the sausage for a layered casserole
  5. Top with the cooked sausage.
  6. Whisk together the eggs, egg whites, milk, and black pepper.
  7. Prepare the country gravy according to the package directions.
  8. Pour the egg mixture over the biscuits and sausage.
  9. Pour the prepared gravy evenly over the top.
  10. Sprinkle with the cheddar cheese.
  11. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the biscuits are cooked through.
  12. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
